Live Hitting is designed to bridge the gap between practice and competition by giving athletes consistent opportunities to face real pitchers in a competitive, game-like environment. Athletes will see pitchers of different ages, experience levels, speeds, and styles, while current and former college pitchers—from junior college through Division I—will be brought in throughout the program.
Rather than simply taking repetitive batting-practice swings, athletes learn to recognize, adjust, compete, and make decisions in real time. Coaches provide immediate feedback and help athletes understand why adjustments need to be made, building skills that transfer directly to game situations.
Athletes will develop:
Pitch recognition and timing
Rhythm and decision-making
Adjustability and situational hitting
Plate approach and competitive mindset
Confidence against live pitching
Ability to handle different pitching styles
Game transfer and in-game adjustments
Every pitch is information. Every at-bat is an opportunity to learn.
See Programs for program levels and the Class Registration FAQs for additional information.
